Do travelers select hotels, airlines, car rental companies based on the suppliers environmental initiatives?

The reason I ask, that in my travels I find that companies appear to undertake these initiatives from a PR and often "me too" perspective.

I think it certainly has become a factor, however not as the main criteria.

It helps in strengthening a brands image.
